Our restaurant
For over twenty years Pino and his staff have been managing this family-run restaurant that seats up to 250 guests. Its prices and atmosphere have made it one of the area’s most beloved spots, but guests of the Hotel Green Assisi holiday complex have their own specially reserved seats.
. We believe in local foods, Doc meats and distinct flavours. Fine dining means, first and foremost, the care and love of ingredients: from the highly prized black truffle to the extra virgin olive oil to the rich yet poor onion of Cannara and the lentils of Colfiorito. The menu follows the seasons and suggests tantalizing journeys through traditional Umbrian flavours, from Easter bread to cured meats to “mostaccioli” and “fave dei morti” biscuits, to the “torta al testo” flatbread seasoned with herbs.
Meals are served in two air-conditioned dining rooms or beneath the spacious outdoor gazebo.
The pizzeria
Our menu is designed to please children and younger guests while allowing parents to save. We offer more than seventy pizzas, including classic and more innovative versions. Fabio is the master pizza chef who joined us after studying at the National Italian Pizza Makers association and taking part in acrobatic pizza competitions.
Our pizza is leavened and left to rest in special containers for three days before it is rolled out to enhance digestibility. The wood pizza oven and finest ingredients complete the masterpiece.
